The Art of Traveling Strangers

It’s the 1980s, and art historian Claire—reeling from a series of heartbreaking losses—accepts a job as an art guide in Europe for a quirky stranger named Viv.

But as these mismatched women explore the art-filled cities of Italy and then Paris, Claire’s woes follow. Forced to face her demons, Claire realizes she must learn from the spirit of her eccentric companion and the wisdom of the old masters to take charge of her life or lose the most important thing in it.
